  1. Squeeze out a fair amount of each color on your paint palette. Paint the top half of your canvas with Cobalt Blue.
  2. Mix the colors Cerulean Blue and a little bit of Titanium White together. These colors will indicate the mountain shape. Using your fan brush, paint in up and down strokes as shown in the painting above.
  3. Grab a dry medium size brush and brush in criss cross motions. This technique will help blend the colors.
  4. With a large brush, mix together Black and a little bit of Phthalo Green together. Mix till well combined. Paint the lower half of the canvas with this color.
  5. Once finished, take a fan brush to paint trees. You are welcome to paint as many trees as you like.
  6. Using the same brush, mix Phthalo Green and a little bit of Lemon Yellow together. Once combined, use the brush to paint some highlights on the trees.
  7. With a round brush, gently tap the canvas with that same color in the lower right corner. This will add highlights to the bushes.
  8. To start the waterfall, mix the colors Prussian Blue and Titanium White with a small paintbrush. As shown in the painting above, in a downward direction let your brush caress through the canvas.
  9. At the bottom of the waterfall, paint in up and down strokes going from left to right. This will create a misty illusion.
  10. With the same brush, mix together Titanium White and a little bit of Black together. Paint the sides of the waterfall to create a cliff.
  11. Let the oil painting dry for two days. Woohoo your painting is finished!
